“Sirish is not only a great wordsmith, his dedication and ability to capture the essence of the subject matter being explored is present throughout the EOV Wellness Project®.”
— Rob Sutherland, President, EOV Ventures Ltd.
I became involved with the EOV Wellness Project, a wellness program rooted in the Creating Shared Value concept developed at Harvard. The project takes a scientific and artistic approach to wellbeing. I was initially invited to provide editorial inputs, but went on to become the organization’s first Chief Storytelling Officer, responsible for defining the organizational voice across all platforms.
Between 2019 and 2022, I worked with a blueprint created by the program’s Medical Director, Dr. Chris Stewart-Patterson (CME Program Director at Harvard Medical School) to develop an eight-module wellness course for a general audience. Although primarily a writing and communications role, the work included overall program architecture as well as research into medical studies, alternative healing practices, philosophy, and psychology.
I collaborated at every stage with award-winning filmmaker Gwenael Lewis who initially drew me into the project. He brought the aesthetic sensibility of his work for Chanel and Louis Vuitton to this project to create visually uplifting films that are informational and inspirational. Another key contributor was Edo van Breemen, a highly regarded composer who works on immersive sound therapy for meditation and trauma recovery. His scores created a healing musical dimension to the program.
I worked with closely with EOV’s President Rob Sutherland and Medical Director Chris Stewart-Patterson to ensure medical accuracy and the alignment of my work with the project’s aims. The final component of the work was to collaborate with the global communications firm Edelman (with a team spread across the US & Canada) on product launch.
